Important Notice: Dealing Suspension of Investment Choices
Due to the closure of the Taiwan Stock Exchange during the Lunar New Year holiday, the valuation and dealing of Manulife Inv Taiwan Equity Fund under Manulife Investment Solutions and under Manulife Wealth Creator, MIL Taiwan Fund under Matrix (collectively named as the “Investment Choices”) will be suspended from January 31, 2011 (Monday) to February 7, 2011 (Monday) (both days inclusive).
Pursuant to the Principal Brochures relating to the Investment Choices, Manulife (International) Limited (“the Company”) may suspend valuation and dealing of each Investment Choice in the circumstance of closure of, or suspension of, or restriction of trading on any stock exchange or other market on which a substantial proportion of the relevant investments of the underlying funds are quoted.
All instructions in respect of subscription, redemption and switching of units of the Investment Choices received by the Company during the period between January 31, 2011 (Monday) and February 7, 2011 (Monday) (both days inclusive) will be processed after the resumption of valuation and dealing. During the suspension, Policyowner may withdraw or change his/ her request in respect of any subscription, redemption or switching of units of the Investment Choices*.
The Investment Choices will resume valuation and dealing on February 8, 2011 (Tuesday).
