Here's what you'll need to create a ManulifeMOVE account:

We've prepared a short video on creating account or you can follow the steps provided:

  1. Open the ManulifeMOVE app
  2. Select your region and language (you will have re-install the app if you select the incorrect region)
  3. Tap ‘Allow’ to enable notifications 
  4. Tap on ‘Create Account’ and enter your e-mail and a password. Your password should be at least eight (8) characters, including;
    • 1x Upper case letter
    • 1x Lower case letter
    • 1x Number
    • 1x Special character
  5. Tap on ‘Next’ and then enter the verification code sent to your e-mail.
  6. Policyholders only: Once verified, if you have your MOVE Key ready, enter it here along with your Date of Birth (as it appears on your policy) then tap 'Activate Account' to link your Manulife policy to ManulifeMOVE.

Your ‘MOVE Key’ is your key to joining the ManulifeMOVE programme and earning the Premium Discount. With this key, you can unlock exclusive wellness, entertainment, and lifestyle offers from our wide range of partners.

The MOVE Health Score is a new scientific yet simple scoring method that allows people to measure how healthy they are. Research shows that accurately understanding the status of current health is the critical first step to making healthier life choices. Making sense of the health and wellness data from the many fitness-related wearable devices and applications on the market, can be difficult. We aim to provide a simple perspective on health and wellbeing that considers a variety of influencing factors. 

 

The functionality has been developed in collaboration with Swiss-based global health tech firm, dacadoo, and is accessible by ManulifeMOVE users on the MOVE app. 

If you are an eligible ManulifeMOVE policyholder and have received your MOVE Key, it is mandatory to link your policy to your account to be eligible for the insurance benefits.

If you do not have an eligible Manulife policy or your MOVE Key has not yet arrived, simply skip this step by tapping 'Activate later'. You will still be able link your policy and account later through 'Settings' in the app.

    It may take a few moments for the verification code e-mail to appear in your inbox. If you do not receive your verification code you may try:

    1. Checking to ensure you've entered the correct e-mail address when creating your account. Create a new account if you've entered the incorrect e-mail address.
    2. Check your e-mail’s Spam folder.
    3. Request a new verification code by tapping ‘Resend code’.

    Note: Verification codes are only valid for 120 seconds.

    Your verification code will expire within 2 minutes. You can request a new verification code by tapping ‘Resend Passcode’ in the ManulifeMOVE app.

    To reset your password:

    1. Open the ManulifeMOVE app and log in
    2. Tap on ‘Forgot password?’ and enter your registered e-mail address
    3. Tap ‘Reset Password’ and we will email you a verification code
    4. Enter the verification code and tap on ‘Verify’
    5. You may now enter a new password. Your password should be at least eight (8) characters including:
    • 1x Upper case letter
    • 1x Lower case letter
    • 1x Number
    • 1x Special character (e.g. !,#,$,%,&,@,<,>,+)

    Your ‘MOVE Key’ is your key to joining the ManulifeMOVE programme and earning the Premium Discount. With this key, you can unlock exclusive wellness, entertainment, and lifestyle offers from our wide range of partners.

    To link your Manulife Policy to your ManulifeMOVE account and activate your programme membership, you will need your MOVE Key. It will be sent to you by SMS/Email once your eligible policy is approved and issued.

    Enter your MOVE Key and Date of Birth when you create an account on the app, or alternatively, by launching the app and going to 'Dashboard' or ‘Settings’ and tapping on the 'Join MOVE now!' banner, then on 'Activate your MOVE account' after scrolling to the bottom.

    Make sure you entered your MOVE Key correctly. Note that the MOVE Key is case-sensitive and your Date of Birth must be entered exactly as it appears on your Manulife policy.

    If you’re still having issues or your MOVE Key has expired, please reach us through move_hkenquiry@manulife.com and have your Policy details and MOVE Key ready for identification.

    Your MOVE Key will be sent to you via e-mail once your eligible Manulife Policy has been approved and issued - this may take up to 1 week.

    Please do check your e-mail’s Spam folder in the event it has been automatically filtered by your mail provider. 

    If you still have not received your MOVE Key, please reach us through move_hkenquiry@manulife.com for further assisstance.

    Launch the ManulifeMOVE app and navigate to 'Dashboard'. Here you will see your current progress towards the next programme goal and corresponding Premium Discount.

    Tapping on the MOVE Programme progress section, you can see your current ‘Daily Step Average’ and a detailed breakdown regarding of each programme goal and the number of steps you need to achieve daily within your tracking period.

    *Please update ManulifeMOVE app to version 5.5.1 or above to experience the new features.

    To be eligible to redeem the Apple Watch or Fitbit sign-up offer you need to have an eligible ManulifeMOVE Policy as well as meet all of the ManulifeMOVE program's eligibility criteria.

    When you activate your MOVE Key in the ManulifeMOVE app, you will be prompted to redeem your desired tracker at a discount price through our partner vendor. You will be re-directed to their mobile website to place and redeem the order.

    Alternatively, after you have activated your MOVE Key, you can go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Fitness Tracker’ to redeem sign-up offer.

    The ManulifeMOVE app will automatically update your step data when you open the app. Sometimes however, there may be a slight delay in receiving the data from your fitness tracker. If you see a discrepancy in your step data, you may try the following troubleshooting tips:

     

    1. Check that you’re only connected to only one (1) of our supported fitness trackers
    2. Check that all data permissions are enabled between your fitness tracker and the ManulifeMOVE app so that your steps can be updated
    3. Ensure your fitness tracker has been updated with the latest step data
    4. Make sure your phone is currently connected to the internet
    5. Ensure your phone is updated to the latest Operating System
    6. Ensure you have downloaded and installed the latest version of the ManulifeMOVE app

     

     

    If you’re still having issues updating your steps on ManulifeMOVE, please contact us through move_hkenquiry@manulife.com and ensure to describe your issue in as much detail as possible, attaching screenshots or files relating to your enquiry where necessary.

    There is a known issue with connecting to Samsung Health

    Please follow these steps if you are in Android 8.0 or above that will resolve this issue:

    1. Find out your MOVE account email address (go to setting page if you have trouble finding it)
    2. Delete the ManulifeMOVE app on your phone. If you do not know how, open the Google Play store, and search for ManulifeMOVE. Open the relevant application, and click on uninstall. Note, different smartphone brands may have different experiences.
    3. On the same page, install the newest version of the ManulifeMOVE application.
    4. Once installed, open the MOVE application. You will be asked to select the country and language. Don’t worry this will not impact your current profile.
    5. Click Login. Use the email from step 1 and type in your password. If you do not know your password click the forgot password link and complete that flow
    6. Once you have successfully logged in, your tracker connection for Samsung Health should be automatically reconnected.
    7. If the tracker was not automatically connected, please click the connect a tracker button and select Samsung Health again and complete the flow.

    Track your steps, participate in challenges and earn rewards - the ManulifeMOVE app provides you with tools to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

    ManulifeMOVE encourages you to take on a healthier lifestyle by rewarding you for every MOVE you make!

    On the ManulifeMOVE app everyone can track their step progress, complete exciting challenges to win rewards and read our health & wellness tips.

    Members who have purchased an eligible policy from Manulife and have activated their MOVE Key are entitled to exclusive benefits such as:

    • Sign-up Offer
    • Premium Discount Programme
    • Rewards for completing Challenges
    • MOVE+ Partner Offers

    The ManulifeMOVE app is available on any device running Apple iOS 10 or Android 5.5 and above. Please note running ManulifeMOVE on an unsupported operating system may impact your experience.

    Once you've downloaded the ManulifeMOVE app, getting started is as easy as 1-2-3!

    1. Create an account with your email address, we will send you a code and you will receive an email to verify it. 
    2. If you’re a Manulife Policyholder, link your ManulifeMOVE account to your policy using your MOVE Key. If you don’t have a MOVE Key, skip this step for now and link it later through 'Settings' in the app.
    3. Connect your smartphone with pedometer or fitness tracker to start tracking your steps.

    Yes, ManulifeMOVE is for everyone!

    Manulife policyholders who linked their eligible policy to their ManulifeMOVE account will maximise their benefits however, using the app as a non-policyholder will also entitle you to lesser benefits.

    To reset your password:

    1. Open the ManulifeMOVE app and log in
    2. Tap on ‘Forgot password?’ and enter your registered e-mail address
    3. Tap ‘Reset Password’ and we will email you a verification code
    4. Enter the verification code and tap on ‘Verify’
    5. You may now enter a new password. Your password should be at least eight (8) characters including:
    • 1x Upper case letter
    • 1x Lower case letter

    You may only reset your password a total of 24 times within a 24-hour period. Please wait 24 hours before attempting to reset your password again.

    Entering an incorrect password a consecutive six (6) times will automatically lock your account for security purposes.

    To unlock your account, please reset your password by tapping on 'Forgot password?'.

    We hope you enjoy being a member of the ManulifeMOVE program, but if you would like to terminate your MOVE membership, just notify us by email, sent to move_hkenquiry@manulife.com, giving 30 days' notice. Please note that your MOVE membership cannot be reinstated and all benefits under ManulifeMOVE will cease upon membership termination. You can only re-apply for MOVE by purchasing new eligible coverage.

    Log into the ManulifeMOVE app and go to 'Settings'. Tap on the default profile icon and you may then take a new photo or upload an existing one. 


    MOVE membership

    A ManulifeMOVE programme member:

    • is 18 years of age or above;
    • is the insured of at least one coverage of Manulife eligible plans
    • must have submitted MOVE Enrollment form if you are not the policy owner of the eligible plans
    • has activated his/her MOVE Key on the ManulifeMOVE app

    To be eligible for the ManulifeMOVE Programme you must;

     

    • Have purchased an ‘eligible plan’ during the promotional period.

    Eligible plans for ManulifeMOVE are:

    ManuMaster Healthcare Series/Benefit*;

    Cancer Treatment Benefit*;

    No, so long as you continue to meet the ManulifeMOVE programme eligibility requirements. 

    No, ManulifeMOVE programme membership is non-transferable.

    If you've completed any of the programme goals by achieving 100%, congratulations! You will be entitled to that Level's corresponding Premium Discount. You will also receive a SMS notification 60-days prior to the end of your tracking period, informing you of your qualification for the Premium Discount.

    Your first tracking period is the number of days between when you activate your MOVE Key and connect a health tracker, to 61 days prior to the end of your policy year / your first ManulifeMOVE anniversary.

    Your second membership year and after runs after the end of first tracking period, and runs for one calendar year.

    Your Premium Discount will be automatically applied to all of your eligible ManulifeMOVE plans by deducting from the renewal premium due for the next policy year, where the policy anniversary falls into the next membership year.

    Yes, there is no limitation on the number of eligible plans you may enjoy the Premium Discounts on.

    If you are not the policy owner of the eligible plans, you must have submitted MOVE Enrollment form for each policy.

    If you are the policy owner of the eligible plans, your Premium Discounts earned through the ManulifeMOVE programme will be automatically applied to all your eligible plans.

    No, the Premium Discount will only apply to the premium of eligible plans. Any basic coverage/supplementary benefits other than the eligible plans will not receive the Premium Discount even if they are attached under a single policy with eligible basic/rider coverage.

    To be eligible to participate in the ManulifeMOVE programme and earn a Premium Discount, you must have at least 180 days within your tracking period. Having less than this will make you ineligible for your first programme year and your programme will commence in your next membership year.

    Not at all! Not only can you enjoy the many perks of the ManulifeMOVE programme, but also your Premium will remain the same even if you don't reach your programme goals!

    Terminating your ManulifeMOVE membership will make all Premium Discounts invalid.

    Please note: Once your membership has been terminated it cannot be re-instated and all benefits under the ManulifeMOVE programme will cease. You may re-apply for membership by purchasing a new eligible plan.

    Congratulations! Seeing a happy face in your progress means your current progress of your Daily Step Average is enough for you to earn the next programme reward, if you can maintain this average till the end of the tracking period. If you see a sad face, it means you need to increase your Daily Step Average if you wish to achieve the next programme goal.

    For example, if you are moving towards level 3, you will see the happy face when you maintain more than 10,000 Daily Step Average, or you will see the sad face if your Daily Step Average is less than 10,000. 

    But don’t worry, as long as you keep up with the 10,000 Daily Step Average in your tracking period, you will reach Level 3 eventually!

    Days remaining means the remaining days that you have within the current tracking period. You can find it in Your Progress on the Dashboard.

    This is because your tracking period is still ongoing and you have not reached the total steps needed (7,000 steps x Total number of days in your tracking period) as of today. But don’t worry, as long as you keep up with the 7,000 Daily Step Average in the remaining days of your tracking period, you will reach Level 2 eventually! Remember, the more you walk, the faster you reach the level. You may find yourself in Level 1 because you have reached the total steps needed of Level 1 in a tracking period.


    Tracking steps

    To participate in challenges and win rewards as well as track your step and health data, you must connect a supported fitness tracker or fitness wearable to ManulifeMOVE.

    ManulifeMOVE currently supports the following health trackers and fitness wearables:

    Your Daily Step Average are calculated by dividing your total steps by the total number of days in your programme tracking period.

    Your tracking period begins the day you activate your MOVE Key and connect a tracker (whichever comes latter) and concludes at the end of your ManulifeMOVE year (61 days prior to your policy anniversary).

    'Example': Daily Step Average = Total # of steps / Total # of days in tracking period

    You can view your Daily Step Average in 'Dashboard'.

    Your steps will be tracked to be tracked from the moment you connect a fitness tracker and link your Manulife policy to your ManulifeMOVE account by activating your MOVE Key.

    As a non-member your steps be tracked from the moment you connect a tracker. These steps will reset if you choose to purchase an eligible ManulifeMOVE plan and activate your membership.

    Apple Health is the built-in health tracking app on iPhones and other iOS devices.
    Before beginning please ensure your iPhone is turned on and signed in using your Apple ID.

    To connect to ManulifeMOVE with Apple Health:

    1. Open the ManulifeMOVE app
    2. If you're currently connected to another fitness tracker, make sure you've updated your data by checking the last update date and time on the 'Dashboard' 
    3. Go to 'Settings' 
    4. Tap on the tracker component
    5. Tap on 'Apple Health'
    6. Allow ManulifeMOVE to receive Apple Health data by tapping on 'Turn All Categories On' and then tapping on 'Allow'
    7. Select the iPhone device you want to track your steps with (make sure to select the device with the most recent update date and time on Apple Health)

    To connect to ManulifeMOVE with your Apple Watch:

    Before you start, please make sure that the Samsung Health app is installed on your Android device and you are signed in to your Samsung Health account.

    To connect to ManulifeMOVE with Samsung Health:

    1. Open the ManulifeMOVE app
    2. If you're currently connected to another fitness tracker, make sure you've updated your data by checking the last update date and time on the 'Dashboard'
    3. Go to 'Settings' 
    4. Tap on the tracker component
    5. Tap on 'Samsung Health app'
    6. Allow ManulifeMOVE to receive Samsung Health data by tapping the toggle to 'On' and then tapping 'Done'
    7. Select the device or wearable you you want to track your steps with (make sure to select the device which has been updated most recently)

    Before you start, please make sure you've downloaded the Fitbit app on your phone, signed in and have setup the Fitbit.

    To connect to ManulifeMOVE with Fitbit:

    1. Launch the ManulifeMOVE app
    2. If you're currently connected to another fitness tracker, make sure you've updated your data by checking the last update date and time on the 'Dashboard'
    3. Navigate to 'Settings' 
    4. Tap the tracker component
    5. Tap on 'Fitbit'
    6. Sign in to your Fitbit account
    7. Allow ManulifeMOVE to receive Fitbit data by tapping on 'Allow All' then tapping 'Allow'

    Before beginning please ensure you've downloaded the Misfit app onto your device, signed in and Setup a Misfit wearable.

    To connect to ManulifeMOVE with Misfit:

    1. Open the ManulifeMOVE app
    2. If you're currently connected to another tracker, make sure you've updated your data by checking the last update date and time on the 'Dashboard'
    3. Navigate to 'Settings'
    4. Tap the tracker component
    5. Tap on 'Misfit'
    6. Sign in to your Misfit account
    7. Allow ManulifeMOVE to receive Misfit data by tapping on 'Allow'

    Before you start, please make sure your steps and health data on your current tracker is updated on ManulifeMOVE.

    To change fitness trackers on ManulifeMOVE:

    1. Open the ManulifeMOVE app
    2. If you're currently connected to another tracker, make sure you've updated your data by checking the last update date and time on the 'Dashboard'
    3. Go to 'Settings'
    4. Tap the tracker component
    5. Select the tracker you want to connect and follow the steps for that specific device

    Here's a quick video on changing fitness trackers in ManulifeMOVE

    When connecting to Fitbit, please adjust your mobile's clock to 'Set automatically', or the app may freeze during setup.

    • Apple users, go to 'Settings' > 'General' > 'Date & Time' and tap on 'Set Automatically'
    • Android users, go to 'Settings' > 'Date & Time' and select 'Automatic date & time'.

     

     

    You can connect to one fitness tracker at a time. If you wish to change trackers, please sync your step data to ManulifeMOVE with your current tracker by launching the app to prevent any data loss.

    Your steps will only be counted towards the ManulifeMOVE programme from the time you activate your MOVE Key.

    Check that you have refreshed the page by pulling down to sync with your fitness tracker in 'Dashboard' .

    If your current tracking period has less than 180 days, then you are ineligible to earn the Premium Discount and your Daily Step Average will display ‘0’ steps until the start of your next policy tracking period.

    The ManulifeMOVE app will automatically update your step data when you open the app. Sometimes however, there may be a slight delay in receiving the data from your fitness tracker. If you see a discrepancy in your step data, you may try the following troubleshooting tips:

     

    1. Check that you’re only connected to only one (1) of our supported fitness trackers
    2. Check that all data permissions are enabled between your fitness tracker and the ManulifeMOVE app so that your steps can be updated
    3. Ensure your fitness tracker has been updated with the latest step data
    4. Make sure your phone is currently connected to the internet
    5. Ensure your phone is updated to the latest Operating System
    6. Ensure you have downloaded and installed the latest version of the ManulifeMOVE app

     

     

    If you’re still having issues updating your steps on ManulifeMOVE, please contact us through move_hkenquiry@manulife.com and ensure to describe your issue in as much detail as possible, attaching screenshots or files relating to your enquiry where necessary.

    We recommend launching the ManulifeMOVE app at least once per week to update your data and ensure your progress is recorded.

    For your information, the fitness trackers listed below will only store your data temporarily after your last sync with your tracker account. Activity recorded outside the period of time (specified below) will be erased and cannot be restored.

    Misfit Shine - 31 days

     

    Apple Health, Apple Watch, Google Fit and Samsung Health have no limits.

    To check your step history:

    1. Click 'Step History' on 'Dashboard'
    2. View the average step count in 7 days, 30 days or 90 days.
    3. You can also view the daily step count for last 90 days. 


    Challenges & rewards

    To find out the upcoming challenges by:

    1. Navigating to 'Dashboard' to find out the latest upcoming challenge and all the challenges that you have joined, or
    2. Go to the 'Challenges' tab. In 'Upcoming', you will see a list of challenges for you to join. 

    You will also receive a notification once a challenge becomes available, so make sure that all notifications are turned on. 

     

    On your device:

    1. Go to 'Settings' > 'Notifications'
    2. Find and select the ManulifeMOVE app
    3. Ensure you have enabled Notifications

    Challenges will appear in the app under 'Challenges' > 'Upcoming'. Please join before the 'Start Date'. 

    To join a challenge:

    1. Go to the 'Challenges' tab
    2. Scroll down and tap on an available challenge under 'Upcoming'
    3. Tap on 'Join challenge'
    4. Wait for the start date then start MOVE-ing!

    Once a Challenge you joined has ended, your results will be displayed when you open the ManulifeMOVE app.

    Any Rewards or Badges you've won will be stored within the 'Rewards' tab until they expire."

    Your rewards are in 'Rewards' in the ManulifeMOVE app.

    Redeeming Reward Codes:

    To redeem any rewards you've earned, tap on 'Redeem now' then copy the Reward code and redeem it online from the designated merchant's website. 

    Redeeming QR/Bardcodes:

    To redeem QR code or barcode Rewards, tap on 'Redeem now' then present the codes to the store staff.

     

    Once redeemed, your Reward codes will be archived under 'Claimed' until they expire. If you've acccidentally redeemed a Reward and want to revert this, simply tap 'Didn't claim this reward' under the Reward details and it will be made available again.
    Please note every reward can only be used once. 

    ManulifeMOVE currently offers 2 types of Rewards for completing Challenges:

    1. Reward Codes in the form of a unique code or QR code 
    2. Digital Badge

    The type of Reward offered by a Challenge will be mentioned in the Challenge details.

    As a ManulifeMOVE member who has activated their MOVE Key, there is no limit on the number of Rewards you may redeem!

    Yes! Please take note of the expiry date which can be found in the Reward details after tapping into 'Rewards' > 'Prizes'. 

    Digital badges will not expire and can be viewed in 'Rewards' >  'Badges' within ManulifeMOVE.

    Please contact the specific Reward vendor for any queries regarding Reward codes that you have earned through ManulifeMOVE.

    Once you tap on 'Redeem now', your Reward will be archived under 'Claimed'. It will be stored here until the Reward expires and moves into the 'Expired' section.

    To be eligible to redeem the Apple Watch or Fitbit sign-up offer you need to have an eligible ManulifeMOVE Policy as well as meet all of the ManulifeMOVE program's eligibility criteria.

    When you activate your MOVE Key in the ManulifeMOVE app, you will be prompted to redeem your desired tracker at a discount price through our partner vendor. You will be re-directed to their mobile website to place and redeem the order.

    Alternatively, after you have activated your MOVE Key, you can go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Fitness Tracker’ to redeem sign-up offer.

    For all Apple Watch delivering to HK or Macau:
    Member can track the delivery status via the link embedded in the order confirmation email, which is sent to member’s registered email address at Manulife upon Apple Watch redemption in MOVE app. Member is required the input his/her MOVE key to access the order status checking page.

    Yes. Each device has a one-year warranty. Please keep your warranty card or any receipt that accompanies your fitness tracking device to receive any warranty services.

    For Apple Watch, please note the one-year warranty applies from the date of shipment.

    For Fitbit and Misfit fitness trackers, the warranty period start date will be displayed on your warranty card.

    Choose well because unfortunately, once you have selected a health tracker (Apple Watch or Fitbit) as part of the Sign-Up Offer, you will be unable to change.

    Yes, if you do not wear or have your health tracker with you to record your steps, the ManulifeMOVE app will not be able to retrieve any data and will record '0' activity for that day. This will increase the 'Daily Step Average' required overall to meet the programme goals.

    No, your steps on ManulifeMOVE will only start counting from the day you connect your tracker and activate your MOVE Key. Any steps recorded on your health tracker prior to this day will be excluded.

    There is a known issue with connecting to Samsung Health

    4. Once installed, open the MOVE application. You will be asked to select the country and language. Don’t worry this will not impact your current profile.
    5. Click Login. Use the email from step 1 and type in your password. If you do not know your password click the forgot password link and complete that flow
    6. Once you have successfully logged in, your tracker connection for Samsung Health should be automatically reconnected.
    7. If the tracker was not automatically connected, please click the connect a tracker button and select Samsung Health again and complete the flow.


    App support

    We are constantly improving the user experience throughout the ManulifeMOVE app. We recommend always updating to the latest version of ManulifeMOVE to ensure you can use the latest features, earn rewards from the latest challenges and get access to all the latest offers.

    You may change countries by re-installing the ManulifeMOVE app and creating a new account with a new e-mail address. If you'd like to change regions and retain the same e-mail address, please contact us through move_hkenquiry@manulife.com for further assistance.

    Navigate to 'Settings' and select your desired language under the 'Account' menu.

    The steps you take while in a different timezone will be updated on ManulifeMOVE according to the region and timezone you selected when creating your ManulifeMOVE account.

    Ensure your current health tracker's steps and health data have been updated on the ManulifeMOVE app. We will store your steps and health data in the event you swap devices or accidentally delete the app so you can always return and resume where you left off.

    MOVE Health Score

    The MOVE Health Score is a new scientific yet simple scoring method that allows people to measure how healthy they are. Research shows that accurately understanding the status of current health is the critical first step to making healthier life choices. Making sense of the health and wellness data from the many fitness-related wearable devices and applications on the market, can be difficult. We aim to provide a simple perspective on health and wellbeing that considers a variety of influencing factors. 

    The functionality has been developed in collaboration with Swiss-based global health tech firm, dacadoo, and is accessible by ManulifeMOVE users on the MOVE app.

    The MOVE Health Score provides an indication of your current health and wellbeing, designed to highlight areas where health could be improved through healthier life choices. It is not a medical diagnostic tool or symptoms checker, nor does it substitute the diagnosis of your medical professional. 

    The MOVE Health Score captures information across 4 key parameters that influence health and wellbeing: your body measurements (body), how you feel (mind), how you live (lifestyle) and the number of steps taken each day (steps). 

    Using these inputs, the MOVE Health Score simplifies the health status of an individual into just one number from 1 to 1,000, with the measure falling within these five categories:

     

    Low (0-480)

    Fair (481-550)

    Good (551-610)

    Very good (611-680)

    Excellent (681-1000)

     

    Your health score is impacted by your health decisions. You are in control. It can move up or down in real-time, depending on how your body, emotional wellbeing, steps or lifestyle data change. The more information you provide, the more accurate your health score will be.

    ManulifeMOVE users can gauge whether they are comfortable with their health status or if changes need to be made within any of the parameters that contribute to overall health. "

    When you first use the MOVE Health Score you will only enter four data points (age, gender, height and weight) in order to obtain your first health score. The MOVE Health Score will use estimated average values for other data points in order to generate an immediate indicative measure of health. The more questions you answer and the more steps data collected over time, the more accurate and more personal your health score will become.
