Golden Summer Lucky Draw Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”)

  1. The Golden Summer Lucky Draw (“Lucky Draw”) is organized by Manulife (International) Limited (Incorporated in Bermuda with limited liability) (“Manulife”).
  2. The promotion period of the Lucky Draw is from 1 September 2025 to 31 October 2025, both dates inclusive (the “Promotion Period”).
  3. The Lucky Draw is open to individuals who fulfill all of the following requirements to be entitled to Lucky Draw for once during the Promotion Period (“Eligible Participants”).
    i. Participants must be aged 18 or above at the time of registration for entry to the Lucky Draw;
    ii. Holders of a valid Hong Kong Identity Card (“HKID”);
    iii. Participants must have registered the eMPF account and hold a valid eMPF ID; and
    iv. Participants need to complete the risk profile questionnaire and submit their personal information on the designated Lucky Draw campaign website (https://www.manulife.com.hk/en/individual/promotions/mpf-golden-summer-lucky-draw.html) (“Campaign Website”) during the Promotion Period, including name (which must be the same as the name on the Hong Kong Identity Card), the alphabet(s) and the first 4 digits of HKID number, Hong Kong mobile phone number and email address.
  4. Each Eligible Participant can only participate once in this Lucky Draw, and his/her personal information can only be submitted once. Any repeated submission will be considered invalid. Manulife reserves the right to remove any multiple entries that they believe, in accordance with this Terms and Conditions, have been created by an individual trying to gain an unfair advantage in the Lucky Draw. After successful registration, participants will receive a confirmation email along with their lucky draw reference no.
  5. Prize list of the Lucky Draw and number of winner(s)
    a. Grand prize: 999.9 Gold Bar (5 tael) (Quota: 1)
    b. 2nd prize: 999.9 Gold Bar (1 tael) (Quota: 4)
    c. 3rd prize: 999.9 Gold Bar (0.3 tael) (Quota: 5)
    d. 4th prize: valued HK$2,000 Klook Gift Card (Quota: 10)
    e. 5th prize: valued HK$1,000 Klook Gift Card (Quota: 10)
    f. 6th prize: valued HK$800 city’super Gift Card (Quota: 70)
  6. Eligibility to participate in this Lucky Draw does not guarantee winning any prize. A computer system arranged by Manulife will be used to randomly generate a list of winners on 13 November 2025. Manulife’s records regarding the results of the Lucky Draw shall be final and conclusive.
  7. The list of winners (including part of the winners’ name and the lucky draw reference no.) will be announced on the Manulife Hong Kong Website (http://www.manulife.com.hk), The Standard and Sing Tao Daily newspapers on 21 November 2025 (Hong Kong Time). Notification email and/or SMS will be sent to the individual winners via the email address and/or Hong Kong mobile phone number provided at registration of Lucky Draw on 21 November 2025 (Hong Kong Time).
  8. In the event that the winners have not received the winner notification email or SMS by 25 November 2025, or if they have any queries, they should contact the Manulife Campaign Hotline 2202-1844 on or before 28 November 2025 (Hotline opening hours: Monday to Friday, 10am to 12:30pm and 2:30pm to 5:30pm; closed on Saturday, Sunday and public holiday).
  9. Manulife is not responsible for verifying the email address and/or Hong Kong mobile phone number submitted by Eligible Participant for participating in the Lucky Draw. If, for any reason, the email and/or SMS to a winner bounces back or is undeliverable, or the prize is not collected by the winner within the period of time stated in the email and/or SMS, eligibility to receive the prize may be forfeited. Manulife will not be liable for winners’ inability to receive winning notifications or prize collection details, or failure to redeem their prize for any reason, including (without limitation) any falsified, incomplete, or incorrect information provided during registration.
  10. Winners must consent that part of their name and will be disclosed to the general public via the winner list, and they must consent to co-operate with and participate in any related marketing activities of Manulife.
  11. Eligible Participant must attain the age of 18 or above with a HKID card at the time of registration for entry to the Lucky Draw, Otherwise, the relevant winners will be disqualified from the Lucky Draw without further notice. Manulife reserves the right to verify the identity of the winners after the publication of the announcement of winners of the Lucky Draw (including but not limited to the time of the prize collection). If any winner is found not to meet the eligibility criteria, their qualification will be canceled, and the prize will be awarded to the next winner in sequence on the replacement list. No objections will be accepted. The event has a list of replacement winners, which will be drawn on the same day as the Lucky Draw session.
  12. Upon prize collection, winner is required to show the winning notification email, his/her original copy of valid HKID and eMPF ID for verification purposes and to sign an acknowledgement for prize collection and record purposes. Otherwise, the respective winner will be disqualified without further notice.
  13. All prizes of the Lucky Draw cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged for any other offers.
  14. If the Eligible Participants or winners violate any applicable rules / regulations or commit any illegal acts that result in any losses on the part of Manulife or any third parties, the relevant Participants or winners shall be liable for all the losses.
  15. It is the winners' responsibility to comply (at their own expense) with any laws requiring payment of any tax, duty, levy or similar impost relating to the award of the prize, and Manulife shall have no responsibility in respect thereof.
  16. If for any reason this Lucky Draw is not capable of running as planned, due to infection by computer virus, bugs, worms, trojan horses, denial of service attacks, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Manulife that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Lucky Draw, Manulife reserves the right to disqualify any individual(s) who tamper with the entry process without prior notice.
  17. Manulife reserves the right to interpret the Terms and Conditions. In case of any disputes, Manulife’s decision shall be final and conclusive.
  18. Manulife is not the manufacturer/supplier of the prizes of the Lucky Draw. Manulife will not be responsible or liable for any consequence relating to the quality, supply, delivery and utilization of the prizes. Utilization of the prizes is subject to the Terms and Conditions imposed thereon by the individual manufacturer/supplier. Manulife shall not be responsible or liable for whatever aspects related to the prize (including but not limited to its quality, supply, delivery and utilization). Manulife will not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage directly or indirectly resulting from their participation of the Lucky Draw, any use or misuse of the prize.
  19. Manulife has the sole and absolute discretion in, according to the relevant clauses in this Terms and Conditions, determining a person’s eligibility to participate in the Lucky Draw or receive the prize. If Manulife discovers at any time, whether after or during the Promotional Period, that any person has failed to comply with these Terms and Conditions, Manulife is entitled to disqualify the person from participating in the Lucky Draw and receiving the prize.
  20. By participating in the Lucky Draw will serve as the Eligible Participants’ consent and acceptance to the Terms and Conditions, Manulife’s Personal Information Collection Statement and agreement to receive communications relating to the Lucky Draw, including email notifications. For Manulife’s Statement of Privacy Policy and Personal Information Collection Statement, please refer to https://www.manulife.com.hk/en/individual/privacy-policy.html. Manulife hereby notifies the Participants that personal information will be collected and used for the Lucky Draw’s purpose, which include without limitation to the administration of the Lucky Draw, placing in the entry list of the Lucky Draw, drawing the winners, contacting Participants on winners notification, announcing the winners list and identity verification of the winner upon Prize collection and communication relating to the Lucky Draw.
    Whilst provision of personal data by the participant for this Lucky Draw is voluntary, failure to supply personal data by the participant will result in Manulife unable to recognize the participant as an Eligible Participant, and consequently unable to enroll the participant to this Lucky Draw. Manulife retains the rights to contact the participant concerning this Lucky Draw, irrespective of the participant’s consent status to Direct Marketing as detailed in Manulife’s Personal Information Collection Statement.
  21. For Eligible Participants who do not want to participate in the Lucky Draw, please email us at HK_Retirement_offer_and_campaign @manulife.com on or before 31 October 2025. If there is more than one email sent to us, only the last email will be considered.
  22. Participants' personal information including name, alphabet(s) and the first four digits of Hong Kong Identity Card number, Hong Kong mobile phone number and email address will be collected and used for participating in and administering the Lucky Draw.
  23. The Lucky Draw is held within Hong Kong. The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong. In the case of any disputes of the Terms and Conditions, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
  24. If any term or condition of the Terms and Conditions is found to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, that particular term or condition will not affect the legality, validity or enforceability of any of the remaining Terms and Conditions of the Terms & Conditions.
  25. No person other than the Eligible Participants and Manulife will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap. 623) to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
  26. In the event of any disputes, Manulife’s decision shall be final and conclusive.
  27. In case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of the Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
