Manulife Hong Kong and Macau has recently identified fraudulent emails impersonating our company. The sender shown in these emails is: 香港MAFIEL <mafiel.sunwg-warpservices.co.za@shared1.ccsend.com>. Please note that these emails and their contents were not issued by Manulife.

The emails claim that a “premium recalculation has been completed” and that a credit balance is available for withdrawal. Recipients are asked to select a payment method via an online platform within 12 hours, failing which the amount will become invalid.

If you receive such emails, please do not click on any links or provide any personal or financial information, and delete the email immediately.

We have also observed similar fraudulent attempts through SMS. Please be cautious of suspicious SMS messages. Manulife will only send SMS to Hong Kong mobile numbers using a Registered SMS Sender ID that begins with "#Manulife." If you receive any SMS or links that appear suspicious or claim to be from Manulife, please do not reply, click, or open any links within the message.

Manulife would like to clarify that we will never request customers to provide credit card details or any sensitive personal information via email, SMS or embedded links, nor will we arrange any time-limited payment or collection requests through such means.

We want to emphasize that this website and all the information it contains — including the phone number, contact address, email address, and QR codes — are not owned, operated, associated with, or endorsed by Manulife.

We take this matter very seriously and have reported it to the Insurance Authority. We are coordinating with the regulatory body for further investigations and reserve the right to take any necessary legal action.

Manulife Hong Kong collects eight awards at the Metro Finance Greater Bay Area Insurance Awards 2022

Hong Kong - Manulife Hong Kong has won big at the Metro Finance Greater Bay Area Insurance Awards 2022 (Hong Kong region), taking home eight prestigious awards for its strong commitment to serving people with innovative products and its support for Hong Kong’s recovery from the fifth Covid wave.

These accolades – spanning individual financial products, retirement services, marketing strategies, corporate social responsibility and agency achievements – are a testament to Manulife Hong Kong’s winning team and culture. They include:

  • Outstanding Investment-Linked Life Products Award
  • Outstanding Deferred Annuity Product Award
  • Outstanding MPF/ Employee Benefit Products/ Service Award
  • Outstanding Marketing Strategies Award- Integrated Marketing
  • Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Award

Three Manulife agency leaders were also honoured with awards in recognition of their achievements and contribution to the industry and wider community. These were:

  • The GBA Extraordinary Leader Award, which went to Dr. Andy TSE, Executive Regional Director of Manulife Hong Kong's agency force;
  • The GBA Outstanding Director in Insurance Industry Award, which was given to Mr. Jolly Wong and Ms. Sam Ho, both Regional Directors in Manulife Hong Kong 's agency force.


These awards are a tribute to Manulife's strength and resilience in Hong Kong and Macau, as well as its commitment to help make every day better for its customers and to drive positive change across the community.
