Regarding MPF cold calls, please click here. Besides, Manulife and its agents would not invite or claim to assist clients to withdraw accrued benefits from MPF accounts.  If you receive suspicious calls from any individuals impersonating “Manulife”, claiming to assist in withdrawing accrued benefits from MPF accounts, please do not provide any personal information and/ or MPF account information to suspicious individuals.

Beware of scams! Do not provide bank, credit card, investment, insurance and MPF account or other key personal information via hyperlinks embedded in suspicious messages purported to be coming from our institution!

Protect your personal data by keeping your Manulife customer website login password safe and change your password regularly. Manulife will never call you or send any SMS/email asking for your Manulife customer website login password. Stay vigilant for suspicious phone calls, emails, websites, apps and hyperlinks embedded in instant electronic messages, etc. allegedly related to Manulife. If you receive any calls claiming to be from Manulife, authenticate the caller’s identity (e.g. full name of the advisor and his/her Insurance/MPF Intermediary License No. or full name of the Manulife customer service officer). If the caller refuses to disclose such information, please do not continue with the conversation. Also, if you notice any suspicious transaction activities in your account with Manulife, or any account that is under your name but not set up by you, please inform us immediately. Friends of Future-Ready Experience – Terms and Conditions

1. General Terms and Conditions

1.1. “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” programme is operated by us, Manulife (International) Limited (“Manulife”), for Eligible Customers (please refer to clause 2 below for its definition) in Hong Kong and Macau.

1.2. These Terms and Conditions apply to the “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” programme and all privileges offered under it.

1.3. The most up-to-date version of these Terms and Conditions is available on the “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” website. We recommend that you regularly review these Terms and Conditions, the membership and privilege information on the website, and the Manulife Privacy Policy and Manulife’s “Personal Information Collection Statement” applicable to Hong Kong or Macau (as the case may be). The date of the latest version of these Terms and Conditions can be found at the bottom of this page under the heading ‘Last Updated'.

1.4. You must read and agree these Terms and Conditions when you become a member of “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” programme.

1.5. If you do not understand these Terms and Conditions or have any questions, please email to service_hk@manulife.com.

1.6. By participating in the “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” programme or using any of its privileges, you are deemed to have:

  • Read and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions are applicable to the “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” website and promotional leaflets;
  • Acknowledged that any personal information you voluntarily provide for purpose of participating in the “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” programme is collected solely for administering your membership, programme participation, related communications, and entitlement to related benefits (including but not limited to prize draws, campaigns, or partner engagements activities under the programme, if any). Such use may include personal information originally collected during your application for the Eligible Policy, to the extent necessary to verify eligibility, facilitate membership activation, and manage your participation in the programme. The use of such information for programme purposes shall not constitute, nor be treated as, disclosure for the purpose of administering or servicing the relevant insurance policy, or for establishing any contractual relationship with Manulife beyond this programme.

1.7. Manulife shall have the right to revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time at its sole and absolute discretion. Any revised version of these Terms and Conditions will take effect on the date of publication on the website. Continued participation in the “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” programme or use of any privileges will be deemed as your full and unconditional acceptance of any amendments.

1.8. It is your responsibility to keep yourself up to date in respect of the “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” programme and these Terms and Conditions.

2. “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” Membership and Qualification as a “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” Member

2.1. Subject to these Terms and Conditions, an Eligible Customer refers to Manulife Hong Kong or Macau policy applicant who has an Eligible Policy Application is eligible to become a member of and participate in the “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” programme (“Eligible Customer”). An Eligible Policy Application refers to an individual insurance policy is signed and submitted to Manulife in Hong Kong or Macau by you as the Eligible Customer, and must meet all of the following criteria (“Eligible Policy Application”):

  • A new application for a designated basic plan (“Designated Basic Plan”) must be signed and submitted to Manulife in Hong Kong or Macau between 21 July 2025 and 20 October 2025 (both dates inclusive); and
  • The policy applicant must be aged 18 or above at the time of application; and
  • the annualized premium of the policy must be at least HKD 10,000; and
  • the proposed insured person must be aged 18 or below at the time of policy application; and
  • a valid email address and/or mobile number must be registered with Manulife.

2.2. To enroll as “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” member, you must activate your membership by using your membership number on or before 31 October 2025. Once you are confirmed as eligible to join the “Friends of Future-Ready Experience”, the membership number will be sent to you via email and/or SMS; you have to complete the registration with the membership number at designated page.

2.3. Refer to the above clauses 2.1 & 2.2, a “Hong Kong Member” refers to the Eligible Customer whose Eligible Policy Application is submitted to Manulife in Hong Kong and who becomes a member of the "Friends of Future-Ready Experience" programme. A “Macau Member” refers to the Eligible Customer whose Eligible Policy Application is submitted to Manulife in Macau and who becomes a member of the "Friends of Future-Ready Experience" programme.

2.4. Membership is only available to individual Eligible Customer of Manulife. It is not applicable to corporate or other legal entity customers. Each individual is entitled to one membership only.

2.5. The membership of the “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” programme is personal to Eligible Customer and will not be assigned at law or in equity.

2.6. The membership of the “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” is valid until 30 June 2026.

2.7. Manulife shall have the sole discretion to revise from time to time the requirements on Eligible Policy Application(s) for approval of any policy applicant as the “Friends of Future-Ready

3. “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” Programme Privileges

3.1. Only members of the “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” programme are eligible to enjoy the privileges. Privileges are for personal use only and not for commercial purposes.

3.2. In general, once you become a member of the “Friends of Future-Ready Experience”, you will be eligible to access the relevant privileges. The “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” website will provide details on the availability of each privilege and the applicable terms and conditions.

3.3. You may opt out of receiving information related to the “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” by emailing us at service_hk@manulife.com. However, if you choose to opt out, you will no longer receive useful updates about the “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” and its privileges. Please note that you may still receive administrative communications necessary for the operation of your membership.

3.4. The relevant privileges are provided by partners which are an independent contractor and are not Manulife’s agent. Manulife shall make no representation, warranty or undertaking as to the availability of any service of the partners. Manulife shall not be liable to the members in respect of any loss, damage, expense, suit, action or proceedings suffered or incurred by the members, whether directly or indirectly, arising from or in connection with the services provided or advice given by such partners and/or its agents, or the availability of such services. Where it is necessary to share personal information with such partners for the provision of privileges, this will be done strictly in accordance with Manulife’s Personal Information Collection Statement.

3.5. Manulife reserves the right to change the scope of partners, the structure of privileges, and the eligibility criteria at any time. If a partner withdraws from the “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” or ceases to provide services, Manulife shall not be held responsible.

4. Termination of Membership

4.1. You may terminate your “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” membership at any time by sending an email to service_hk@manulife.com with at least 30 days’ prior written notice.

4.2. When all the Eligible Policy Application(s) have been withdrawn or canceled, the membership together with all the entitled privileges will be automatically terminated on the date of the last Eligible Policy Application being withdrawn or canceled.

4.3. Upon termination of your membership for any reason, your right to access and use any privileges will cease immediately, subject to the terms of our agreements with relevant partners and any applicable terms and conditions of those partners.

4.4. Termination of your membership will not affect the handling of your personal information under any Eligible Policy Application. Such data will continue to be processed in accordance with the application policy terms, relevant laws, and Manulife’s Personal Information Collection Statement.

4.5. Manulife reserves the right to modify, terminate, suspend, cancel, deactivate, recall or revoke the “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” programme, benefits, these Terms and Conditions, and the Manulife Privacy Policy (in whole or in part) at any time and at our sole and absolute discretion for any reason whatsoever without prior notice.

5. Other Important Information

5.1. We shall be entitled from time to time to contact you via electronic transmission (e.g. email), SMS, MMS, telephone, fax and other means of communication in respect of your membership and participation in the programme. We shall use reasonable methods to convey notices and other material relevant to the “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” members to advise you any matters of interest, including changes to the programme, but we shall not be responsible for correspondence lost or destroyed.

5.2. Any notice or other material shall be deemed to be communicated if it is uploaded to the “Friends of Future-Ready Experience” website or if it is sent to the email last notified to us by you. You are responsible for advising us of any change in your contact details, including email, and ensuring that your email address remains current and unblocked and that communications from us are not filtered or placed in a location where you do not see them. Manulife shall not be liable for failure to deliver a notice to you where you have failed to comply with what have been mentioned.

5.3. These Terms and Conditions and the relationship between you and Manulife shall be construed in accordance with and governed by (a) the laws of Hong Kong and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong, if you are "Friends of Future-Ready Experience" Hong Kong Member; or (b) the laws of Macau and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Macau, if you are "Friends of Future-Ready Experience" Macau Members.

5.4. Manulife reserves the right to interpret the Terms and Conditions. For any dispute, Manulife’s decision shall be final and conclusive.

5.5. If there is any discrepancy between the information contained in the promotional materials regarding this programme and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
