Third party payment and cash payment will not be accepted. Proof of source of payment must be provided as described below:

 

  • Please ensure that the cheque issuer is the investor and the cheque issuer’s name is printed on the cheque. If the investor’s name is not printed on the cheque, the bank statement may serve as proof.
  • You may pay the subscription by sending a crossed cheque payable to "CITIBANK NA HK BRANCH - MGF A/C" attached with the Manulife Global Fund - Subscription Request Form to 22/F, Tower A, Manulife Financial Centre, 223 - 231 Wai Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Please write down the investor’s name, HKID / Passport number or Shareholder number on the back of the cheque.

  • Only payments made by cheque, bank transfer, cashier order, telegraphic transfer or Sameday Autopay as specified below will be accepted. 
  • Investors and account holders are recommended to make their payments in Hong Kong Dollars through Clearing House Automated Transfer System ("CHATS") to shorten the payment processing time and avoid bank charges for handling cheques or telegraphic transfers. Normally, it will take about 4 - 6 weeks to clear a USD cheque drawn outside Hong Kong and clearing charges may be levied by banks. We will process the subscription upon receipt of cleared fund and duly signed Subscription Form.
  • An investor / account holder who wishes to pay in currencies other than Hong Kong Dollars or U.S. Dollars should first contact the Hong Kong Distributor via Customer Service Hotline at 2108 1110.
  • Payments made by a third party or through direct deposit of cash will not be accepted.
  • Where applicable, remittance advice, cheque copy, bank certification or bank advice showing the investor’s / account holder’s name is required as proof of the source of payment.
  • Payments from intermediaries not currently licensed or registered for dealing in securities in Hong Kong or for the equivalent regulated activity in other jurisdictions will not be accepted.

  • You can settle premium payment with your credit card through internet banking services. For details, please refer to Internet Banking.
  • If you are holding Manulife Credit Card, you can settle the premium payment in person at our Customer Service Centre, 23/F, Lee Garden One, 33 Hysan Avenue, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. For details, please refer to Customer Service Centre.

Notes:

  • Credit Card payment cannot make payment for Matrix Privileged Top-up Account.
  • For autopay via Credit Card account, we only accept Manulife Credit Card and it is only applicable to monthly payment for traditional policies.
  • Please complete and return the Direct Debit Authorization Form to “Individual Financial Products, Manulife (International) Limited, 22/F, Manulife Financial Centre, 223-231 Wai Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong”. For details, please refer to Autopay.
  • Normal processing time is 4 to 8 weeks, please make two months premium in advance.
  • Normal processing time is 2 months. Once the new autopay account is effective, the authorization of your previous autopay bank account will then be automatically superseded. You may submit a two-month payment together with the Autopay Arrangement Form and Direct Debit Authorization Form or maintain the existing bank account autopay until the new authorization is effective.
  • Please complete and return the Autopay arrangement form to “Individual Financial Products, Manulife (International) Limited, 22/F, Manulife Financial Centre, 223-231 Wai Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong”.
  • Please settle the premium payment within 31 days from Premium Due Date.
