We take this matter very seriously and have reported it to the Insurance Authority. We are coordinating with the regulatory body for further investigations and reserve the right to take any necessary legal action.

Customers are reminded to beware of MPF cold calls

Manulife would like to remind customers to exercise caution regarding cold calls promoting MPF services.

We urge customers to beware of any possible forged phone calls, emails, fraudulent websites, apps, etc, allegedly from Manulife, especially cold calls in relation to MPF services. Please kindly note that Manulife would never employ a third party to conduct any telemarketing activity. Besides, Manulife and its agents would not conduct any unsolicited calls related to Manulife MPF products.

If you receive any call claiming to be from Manulife MPF, you may respond by:

  1. Insisting to verify the caller’s identity by asking for the agent’s full name and MPF Registration No.
  2. Terminating the call if the caller refuses to provide his or her identification information
  3. Contacting us via the following means, when you are in doubt or if you identify any issue with your account:

Also, Manulife and its agents would not invite or claim to assist clients to withdraw accrued benefits from MPF accounts. If you receive suspicious calls from any individuals impersonating “Manulife”, claiming to assist in withdrawing accrued benefits from MPF accounts, please do not provide any personal information and/ or MPF account information to suspicious individuals.
