Cashless Outpatient Cancer Treatment Service

The battle against cancer is long and filled with challenges. Once you have been diagnosed with cancer and successfully claimed hospitalization or surgical benefits, you can also apply for Cashless Outpatient Cancer Treatment Service* for the chemotherapy or radiotherapy you receive at a designated medical service provider. Through this service, we will pay the service provider the pre-authorized amount on your behalf, so you can undergo treatment with total peace of mind.

*This service is exclusively available to ManuMaster Healthcare Series and ManuShine Healthcare Series, and Manulife Supreme VHIS Flexi Plan customers.

Pre-approval submission by preferred medical service provider

Complete the Pre-approval Form and submit through a preferred medical service provider

Pre-approval notification

The preferred medical service provider will be notified of the pre-approval result, and you will receive a confirmation letter showing the approved credit amount and out-of-pocket amount (if any) or the reason(s) for decline

Proceed to cancer treatment

Carry out the approved cancer treatment as scheduled; the insured is required to settle the expenses exceeding the approved credit amount and the out-of-pocket amount (if any) directly with the preferred medical service provider

Claim submission and assessment

Invoice(s) is/are submitted by the preferred medical service provider to us for settlement
