Medical Products
Effective 11 August, 2025 (“Effective Date”), all our medical products, except for the Cancer Treatment Benefit, will cover Eligible Medical Expenses* incurred at any public and private hospitals authorized and regulated in the People's Republic of China.
*Eligible Medical Expenese
- Eligible Medical Expenses: Claims eligibility and the final reimbursement amounts will be assessed in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the policy provisions, including but not limited to definitions, general exclusions and benefit limits of product features. Please refer to policy provisions of respective products. Any claims incurred before the Effective Date shall be processed according to the previous version of the list of designated hospitals in Mainland China. For the previous version of the list of designated hospitals in Mainland China, please contact your financial advisor.
Critical Illness Products and Cancer Treatment Benefit
If you are insured under the Company’s designated Critical Illness insurance plan(s) and Cancer Treatment Benefit, Company’s designated hospitals in Mainland China includes all Grade III public hospitals, and selected Grade II and Grade I public hospitals. For Critical Illness insurance plan(s), the designated hospital list in Mainland China is applied solely to ensure that diagnoses must be made at a designated hospital in order to qualify for claims. The Company has the right to review and revise the list of designated hospitals in Mainland China from time to time at its own discretion without prior notice, and the above date will be regarded as the last updated and effective date.
