Manulife Global Select (MPF) Scheme (the “Scheme”) was onboarded to the eMPF Platform (“eMPF”) on 6 November 2025. All MPF administrative services are now handled by eMPF, while Manulife Provident Funds Trust Company Limited ("Manulife") remains the trustee of the Scheme. From now on, you can manage your MPF on eMPF and should no longer submit MPF administration instructions to Manulife. Please read the "Notice to Participating Employers and Members" for details.

    Registration tips

    Do I need to pay for registering and using eMPF?

    No. It is FREE to register and use eMPF.

    What do I need for eMPF registration?

    To complete your registration, you'll need your Hong Kong Identity Card (HKID), personal mobile phone, and email address.

     

     If you're an "iAM Smart" app user, you can verify your identity directly through the app during registration.

    Can I register eMPF with my passport?

    The eMPF currently does NOT support registration with a passport.

     

    If your MPF account is enrolled with a passport in the trustee’s current records, please update your identity document to your HKID before onboarding. This will help you to complete registration and receive eMPF communications electronically.

    Do I need to register again if I have multiple MPF accounts?

    You only need to register once for eMPF to manage all your MPF accounts that have been onboarded to the eMPF.

    When can I view my accounts details after registration?

    Simply log in with your eMPF ID to view your account details after your MPF scheme has been onboarded to the eMPF.

    Can I register after my MPF scheme’s onboarding date?

    Please complete your registration on or before the onboarding date. Otherwise, you may be required to submit documents and instructions to eMPF via paper form by mail or in person.

    What should I pay attention to before my scheme onboards?

    Be aware of the early cut-off dates for submitting various instructions to the administrator before onboarding. If you submit instructions after the cut-off dates, the instructions may either be delayed in handling or rejected. Please refer to the communications pack and important notice for details.

    How can I make sure my MPF account information can be transferred to eMPF smoothly?

    Please ensure your name, date of birth and HKID number are the same on your HKID and the trustee’s records. ​Inconsistencies, such as the addition of spaces, hyphens and English names, may result in the creation of multiple eMPF IDs, affecting your MPF account management. You are encouraged to update your records with your trustee before the MPF onboarding if any discrepancies are identified.
