What is Cancer Treatment Benefit?

Cancer Treatment Benefit (supplementary benefit) gives you great peace of mind by reimbursing cancer-related medical expenses at affordable premiums1, so that the life insured can focus on fighting the battle without financial uncertainties.

How we got you covered?

Reimburses eligible cancer-related medical expenses to let you have the right treatment without financial worries.

The supplementary benefit supports eligible treatment expenses for all stages of cancer, from carcinoma-in-situ to late-stage cancer.

Private plan, semi-private plan and ward plan – to suit different protection needs.

Whatever the health condition of the life insured, the plan will be automatically renewed every year for the entire lifetime of the life insured upon payment of premium³

Achieve specified average daily step target, and you will enjoy a premium discount of up to 10% upon policy renewal for the next membership year.

    Cancer Treatment Benefit is an insurance product (supplementary benefit) provided and underwritten by Manulife (International) Limited. The above provides only general information on this product for your reference only. Please download the product leaflet now or ask your Insurance/Financial Advisor for a copy which will give you more details about this product including the ‘Important Information’ showing the product risks.

    1. The premiums will vary depending on the age of the life insured and are not guaranteed. We will regularly review our products, including the premium rates, to make sure we can continue to provide cover. When reviewing the premium rates, we will consider our claims experience and other factors. We can change the premium rates on each policy anniversary.
    2. All treatments, services, surgical operations and procedures for which we provide under this plan must be medically necessary and their charges should not be more than reasonable and customary charges.
    3. We have the right to revise the benefits, terms and conditions and premium when you renew your plan. Please see the ‘renewal’ paragraph under the ‘Important Information’ section of the product leaflet.
    4. The service is provided by a third party service provider which is an independent contractor and is not our agent. We shall make no representation, warranty or undertaking as to any medical opinions given by the medical service provider and the hospitals. The designated hospital list may change from time to time. Please refer to the latest second medical opinion referral services provisions for the terms and conditions of this service.
